Role overview
This is an early-career position on a Data Platform team that powers analytics for a digital health platform focused on chronic metabolic conditions. The role sits at the intersection of product, data, and healthcare, translating member and care team signals into actionable insights while building hands-on experience with modern analytics engineering practices. The position is remote within the United States and reports into a team that partners closely with Product Managers, area owners, care team leads, and Data Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Support Product Managers and area owners with data pulls, ad hoc analyses, and recurring reporting used in day-to-day decisions. - Help design and monitor A/B tests by writing tracking queries, validating data quality during runs, and summarizing results for senior review. - Write and maintain SQL queries and dbt models for scoped tables and metrics, incorporating feedback from senior analytics engineers. - Build and update dashboard components and reports in BI tools, adding metrics or fixing visualizations under senior guidance. - Track and report established KPIs across product areas such as member engagement, continuous glucose monitor utilization, and care team effectiveness. - Run data quality checks on assigned datasets, flagging anomalies, and contribute to documentation including data dictionaries and metric definitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. - 1 to 3 years of experience in product or data analytics, with internships and co-ops counted. - Solid SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and window functions, with motivation to deepen optimization abilities. - Exposure to dbt or a strong willingness to learn modern data modeling and transformation practices quickly. - Familiarity with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, plus exposure to BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. - Strong analytical curiosity, clear communication skills, and a collaborative mindset comfortable asking questions and learning from senior teammates.
