Role overview
Build data products, automation, and AI-assisted workflows that improve the quality and economics of a global telecommunications network. Working across carrier relations, technology, engineering, product, supply operations, and finance, this role combines technical analysis with business problem-solving to investigate fraud, billing issues, network performance, and margin opportunities. The position owns work end to end, from requirements and governance through delivery and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and deploy LLM-based agents and other AI workflows for unstructured, multi-step data investigations. - Use Python to automate repetitive analysis and create scalable tools for individual users and broader operational teams. - Establish orchestration and data architecture practices that support accuracy, safety, efficiency, maintainability, and reliable human oversight. - Query complex telecommunications datasets with SQL to identify root causes, reduce fraud and billing errors, improve network quality, and optimize margins. - Build dashboards, repeatable business-intelligence solutions, and KPI frameworks using tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Python. - Translate business needs into data requirements and governance standards, communicate findings clearly, and take ownership of delivery timelines and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing technical data or automation solutions. - Extensive SQL experience and a strong understanding of relational database schemas. - Experience with Google Sheets or Excel and business-intelligence tools such as Tableau or Looker. - Practical experience using Python, APIs, or workflow platforms to build automated data processes and pipelines. - Experience building agents or working with LLMs to solve complex, multi-step, unstructured problems. - Strong grounding in data management, governance, hygiene, and safe technology deployment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with telecom, messaging, or voice networks. - Experience in SaaS, technology, management consulting, investment banking, project management, or requirements gathering for data teams. - Experience working with customers, vendors, or external partners, supported by strong written and verbal communication skills.
