Principal Presales Engineer, Product Specialist

Role overview

Serve as a senior technical partner on complex customer opportunities involving conversational AI, messaging, and multiple products. You’ll shape and validate solution architectures, help sales teams build confidence in the technical approach, and bring customer patterns back to product and engineering groups to inform future direction.

Responsibilities - Build deep knowledge of platform capabilities, customer use cases, buyer needs, and trends in voice technology and AI. - Scope, design, and present multi-product architectures that address customer requirements and support technical validation. - Work with sales, solutions engineering, and enterprise strategy colleagues on complex opportunities and value-oriented solution discussions. - Design and validate secure, scalable messaging architectures that fit customer systems and support long-term adoption. - Share recurring customer needs and technology shifts with product and research and development teams to inform roadmaps and go-to-market planning.

Requirements - Hands-on experience designing and validating conversational AI or LLM-based systems integrated through APIs. - Experience leading presales or solution architecture engagements, including scoping, design, and technical validation, in both Portuguese and English. - Strong understanding of API-based and event-driven systems, including REST APIs and webhooks. - Software development experience or equivalent, with working knowledge of Node.js, Python, or another backend language. - Expertise in messaging systems, including throughput, retry approaches, and delivery performance. - Ability to explain technical concepts to both executive and technical audiences and influence cross-functional partners.

Nice to have - Specialist or overlay presales experience, product roadmap or positioning collaboration, and familiarity with communications platform services. - Business-level Spanish.
