Presales Architect

Role overview As a Presales Architect, you’ll advise enterprise prospects on how to solve customer engagement challenges with cloud communications APIs. Working alongside sales, you’ll translate business needs into secure, resilient solution designs and demonstrate their value through prototypes and technical presentations.

Responsibilities - Lead technical discovery with enterprise prospects and translate requirements into solution architectures. - Design scalable communication workflows using APIs for messaging, voice, video, and contact-center use cases. - Create and present technical demonstrations, prototypes, and proofs of concept. - Address technical concerns during sales discussions, including security, compliance, integrations, and architecture. - Share customer and market feedback with product and engineering teams to inform future development.

Requirements - At least five years of experience in presales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture, ideally in enterprise software or communications platforms. - Proficiency in a mainstream programming language such as Node.js, Python, Java, or C#. - Practical experience integrating and troubleshooting REST APIs. - Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain cloud architecture, web security, and enterprise integrations to technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have - A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Curiosity and comfort working through ambiguity.
