Senior IT Engineer

Role overview A senior, hands-on engineering role on a corporate IT team building the identity, device, and SaaS infrastructure that keeps a fast-growing AI company productive and secure. The position treats IT as an engineering discipline, focusing on automation, self-service, and close partnership with the security team to make secure paths the default. It is ideal for someone who would rather write scripts than click through tickets.

Responsibilities - Administer the corporate identity platform, including SSO, MFA, and provisioning, and integrate it across the SaaS estate along with periodic access reviews. - Own a mixed macOS, Windows, and Linux device fleet through MDM, handling imaging, configuration, patching, and compliance. - Build automation that handles onboarding, offboarding, and access changes across systems. - Administer and integrate core SaaS tools, often through APIs and custom scripting. - Partner with security on endpoint hardening, least-privilege access, and broader corporate security controls. - Design internal self-service workflows that reduce dependence on ticket queues. - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and endpoint issues while improving monitoring and observability. - Keep systems well documented and mentor other members of the IT team.

Requirements - Five or more years in IT engineering, systems administration, or a closely related role. - Hands-on experience with identity providers such as Okta, Entra ID, or Google Workspace, plus MDM tooling. - Experience administering and integrating SaaS applications at scale. - Solid scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages. - A security-minded approach with experience implementing corporate security controls. - Strong troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Nice to have - Background in infrastructure-as-code or configuration management. - Familiarity with zero-trust access models and modern corporate security architecture. - Experience supporting a fast-growing, remote-friendly workforce. - Relevant industry certifications.
