Full-Stack Product Engineer

Role overview

This senior or principal-level position focuses on building user-facing product experiences for an artificial intelligence and networking platform used by intelligence and security personnel worldwide. The work sits inside a small, fully remote, high-performance startup and reports directly to the Director of Engineering. The role blends front-end and full-stack engineering with active product ownership, giving the engineer meaningful influence over both code direction and feature design.

Responsibilities

- Deliver product experiences on an AI and networking platform serving intelligence and security staff around the world - Partner with design and product management on feature design, delivery schedules, and tradeoff decisions - Act as a product owner in a no-ticket-crunch environment, contributing as an active builder and designer shaping the platform's code and feature direction - Build and evolve the front-end architecture and design system, working within a Vue 3 client, Golang server, and MongoDB storage layer - Participate in technical design reviews and collaborate cross-functionally across ambiguous problem spaces

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in product engineering or front-end client development roles - Hands-on experience with a reactive framework such as Vue, React, or Unity - Working knowledge of API design best practices for REST and GraphQL - Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous product domains and operate cross-functionally - Prior involvement in technical design review processes or review boards - Eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
