Audio Transcription Specialist (French language)

Role overview A remote, project-based opportunity to produce high-quality transcripts from recorded audio as part of a speech-recognition training initiative. Contributors will focus on French-language material, converting spoken conversations into accurate text that helps train conversational AI systems.

Responsibilities - Listen to recorded French-language audio files and transcribe the spoken content into text. - Apply established formatting rules and transcription guidelines consistently across assignments. - Review completed work, catch inconsistencies, and correct transcription errors. - Manage assigned tasks and meet agreed-upon deadlines. - Safeguard the confidentiality of all project materials and recordings.

Requirements - B2-level proficiency in both French and English. - Strong listening comprehension and accurate typing skills. - Keen attention to detail and comfort working with both audio and text tools. - Reliable internet connection and a personal computer suitable for audio playback. - Ability to follow structured instructions and work independently to deadlines.

Nice to have - Prior experience with transcription, annotation, or data-labeling tasks. - Familiarity with AI platforms or annotation tools. - Knowledge of additional languages.
