Role overview A remote, contract opportunity is open for experienced cyber security practitioners to lead live, instructor-led workshops for a global audience of security professionals and career changers. The focus is on teaching, not lecturing: design and deliver hands-on classes where attendees stay engaged, learn real skills, and leave talking about the session.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver live, hands-on cyber security classes on topics where you have genuine practitioner depth. - Plan each class collaboratively with the content team, including labs and exercises built on a hands-on lab platform. - Keep a live audience engaged for the full session through questions, interaction, energy, and momentum. - Bring real-world war stories and current industry practice into the room rather than relying on slides alone. - Iterate on each class based on attendee feedback.

Requirements - Significant hands-on industry experience in areas such as SOC, incident response, red teaming, cloud security, or threat intelligence. - Prior experience delivering live training, workshops, or conference talks to technical audiences. - Strong public speaking skills: clear, confident, and comfortable thinking on your feet. - Ability to explain complex technical topics with clarity to mixed-experience audiences. - Creative teaching style using demos, scenarios, or storytelling. - Reliable setup for remote delivery, including camera, good audio, and a stable connection.

Nice to have - Prior teaching or instructing role at bootcamps, universities, corporate training, or online learning platforms. - Familiarity with hands-on lab platforms used in cyber security training. - An existing audience or community presence in cyber security.
