Senior Front-End Engineer (Next.js/React) - Real Estate

Role overview A real estate technology firm is hiring a Senior Front-End Engineer to lead browser-side work for its core platforms. The role exists to bridge a backend-heavy engineering team and the end user, turning complex property and marketplace data into elegant, high-performing interfaces that reflect a design-forward brand.

Responsibilities - Build and evolve the frontend for the firm's flagship real estate platforms, holding the bar on visual polish and brand consistency. - Take ownership of CSS, layout, and responsive design so applications feel fluid, performant, and visually refined across devices. - Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and data models into seamless, intuitive user experiences. - Design and maintain a scalable, reusable component library that supports rapid feature iteration across Next.js and SvelteKit codebases. - Champion frontend quality and user experience within a cross-functional product team.

Requirements - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong frontend focus. - Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and modern layout techniques. - Proven track record of building complex, responsive web applications from scratch. - Strong communication skills and comfort working across the stack when needed (Node.js, APIs, PostgreSQL).
