About this role
Role overview Lead the overall technology organization for an early-growth AI platform, balancing hands-on engineering judgment with executive-level strategy. The role is responsible for scaling the engineering function, shaping the technical architecture, and ensuring the platform can support ambitious AI-driven products for business customers.
Responsibilities - Own the technology roadmap across infrastructure, applications, and AI/ML-adjacent systems. - Build, lead, and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management. - Architect and evolve cloud-native, highly available systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Strengthen DevOps, CI/CD, data pipeline, and security practices across the engineering organization. - Partner with product and business leaders to translate strategy into delivery, balancing near-term priorities with long-term technical health. - Champion engineering culture, code quality, and operational excellence in a fast-moving startup environment.
Requirements - Significant senior engineering leadership experience, ideally as a CTO, VP, or equivalent, in high-growth or startup settings. - Deep understanding of cloud architecture and scalable system design. - Strong grasp of the AI/ML ecosystem and familiarity with modern frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. - Hands-on background in DevOps, CI/CD, data pipelines, and security best practices. - Ability to move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a passion for building impactful products.
