Product Manager - Metals.io

Role overview A Product Manager is needed to drive commercial growth on a tokenised metals trading platform built on a public blockchain that gives investors faster, deeper, and more flexible access to physical commodities. The role focuses on deepening user engagement, expanding share of wallet, and evolving the platform into the default venue traders turn to for exposure to tokenised metals. The work sits at the intersection of finance, crypto, and consumer product, with a strong bias for experimentation.

Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end product roadmap, including vision setting, prioritisation, and shipping - Partner closely with marketing on go-to-market, positioning, and growth experimentation - Act as the voice of the customer: segment users, run research, and translate behavioural insight into a technical roadmap - Drive a data-led approach by defining the metrics that matter, running experiments, and measuring engagement, stickiness, and share of wallet - Articulate the "why" and the "what" clearly to engineering and design, trust them to own the "how," but challenge when alignment is missing - Pre-empt commercial questions from senior leadership by framing technical decisions in business terms - Stay close to regulatory constraints and balance product engagement against them as the roadmap evolves across products like vaults, perpetuals, and borrowing

Requirements - Product Manager experience at a high-volume trading platform, centralised exchange, or real-world-asset (RWA) marketplace - Full ownership of a meaningful feature set or product end-to-end, including 0-to-1 builds - Strong commercial acumen and comfort partnering with marketing, owning go-to-market, and running growth experiments - Genuine data-driven instinct, with hands-on experience in customer segmentation, user research, and roadmap prioritisation - Aptitude and curiosity to learn quickly; deeper Web3, tokenisation, and real-world-asset concepts can be taught - Based in a European or Middle Eastern time zone (UK, EU, or Dubai) with flexed working hours
