Role overview A junior-level position combining data engineering with marketing technology, focused on mobile app tracking and analytics. The role sits at the intersection of data pipelines and campaign attribution, supporting the technical infrastructure behind mobile app marketing. It is designed for someone early in their career who enjoys data structures, integrations, and problem-solving, with onboarding provided for the marketing-specific aspects.
Responsibilities - Help configure, maintain, and monitor Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as Adjust and AppsFlyer so attribution and event tracking function reliably. - Maintain and structure product feeds, campaign datasets, and automated data pipelines with a focus on data quality. - Identify and troubleshoot basic tracking, event collection, or data integration issues across mobile app marketing campaigns. - Connect ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok) and other marketing tools into reporting workflows to improve campaign visibility. - Contribute to dashboard and visualization updates in tools such as Clarisights, Adverity, and Google Sheets. - Collaborate with senior team members, consultants, and client developers to translate requirements into implementation tasks.
Requirements - Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related discipline. - Basic understanding of product feed structures and introductory knowledge of MMPs such as Adjust and AppsFlyer. - Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads, or TikTok. - Experience working with Excel or Google Sheets and comfort with simple data handling and reporting. - Curious, detail-oriented analytical mindset with willingness to learn how data supports marketing decisions. - Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus but not required.
Nice to have - Hands-on experience with advertising platforms or product feed tools like ProductsUp. - Interest in automation and AI tools such as Make.com or Google Sheets automation; no advanced experience required.
