About this role
Role overview Support the Alliance Persistent Surveillance from Space (APSS) Programme, a joint NATO initiative delivering shared space-based situational awareness to the Alliance and member nations. The role focuses on integrating commercial ISR data into NATO systems and keeping space ISR collection tools operational, secure, and user-ready.
Responsibilities - Manage commercial data integration requirements for APSS collection tools in coordination with ACO stakeholders - Support user interface changes for the Collection Tool, including request intake and implementation - Investigate and resolve data flow bottlenecks and production technical issues - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and maintain clear documentation - Contribute to mission planning using orbit and sensor modelling for multi-mission scenarios - Engage with national and multinational partners on protocols for combining multiple commercial ISR providers
Requirements - Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance - At least 5 years of multi-mission planning experience using orbit and sensor modelling - Recent experience developing and operating space ISR collection tools for national or multinational clients - Proficiency with GIS and web map libraries - Understanding of current space capabilities, especially space-based ISR - Excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills demonstrated within the past 5 years - Self-motivated problem solver who can work independently and as part of a distributed team
Nice to have - Prior NATO or military experience - Familiarity with NATO or national intelligence processes
