Senior Software Engineer, TRM

Role overview Build and operate full-stack systems that power a funded-trader platform, including trader-facing web experiences, onboarding, payments and payouts, and the internal tooling behind daily operations. The role combines hands-on feature delivery with technical leadership, owning production reliability and raising the engineering bar across the team.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and operate full-stack features end to end, from technical design through deployment and production support. - Partner with Product and Design during discovery to shape scope, surface trade-offs early, and provide credible estimates. - Author technical designs and contribute to architectural decisions within your domain alongside other senior engineers and leadership. - Embed automated testing, observability, and operational ownership throughout the delivery lifecycle. - Mentor peers through code review and contribute to shared engineering standards and patterns. - Participate in on-call rotations, drive incident follow-through, and convert production issues into durable fixes. - Use AI-assisted coding tools effectively and in line with team standards.

Requirements - 5+ years building and operating production-grade systems with user-facing APIs, with impact on scalability and reliability. - Strong full-stack foundation in TypeScript and Node.js on the backend (REST and GraphQL APIs) plus modern React and Next.js on the frontend. - Hands-on experience with distributed systems, including event-driven architectures, message queues, eventual consistency, and concurrency. - Solid database fundamentals with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including schema design, migrations, indexing, and query tuning. - Production mindset with comfort in metrics, logging, tracing, on-call work, and end-to-end ownership. - Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with Product, Design, and QA.

Nice to have - Background in financial technology or other highly regulated environments. - Practical experience with payment gateways, billing infrastructure, or authentication and identity services. - Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines such as Argo CD or GitHub Actions.
