This senior manager role sits within a Customer Delivery and Operations function and owns the full lifecycle of high-stakes programs with U.S. government agencies spanning defense, civil aviation, emergency management, and homeland security. The position calls for a hands-on operator who personally drives delivery rather than acting purely as a governance or advisory layer, building the frameworks needed to execute inside a maturing operating model.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of U.S. government programs from contract kickoff through operational deployment and ongoing support - Translate signed contracts and statements of work into executable plans with defined milestones, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and ownership - Manage scope, schedule, budget, contractual commitments, and technical risk across multiple concurrent programs - Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers, building relationships with program leaders, contracting stakeholders, and technical counterparts - Drive alignment across Legal, Finance, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Business Development to resolve blockers and maintain momentum - Step into pre-sale engagements to support deal reviews, scope proofs of concept, and validate delivery feasibility
Requirements
- Direct experience navigating U.S. government acquisition processes, contracting norms, and agency-specific compliance requirements - Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs across different agencies and compliance environments without dropping threads - Track record of building trusted relationships with government stakeholders through consistent follow-through - Experience translating complex technical commitments into structured delivery plans - Comfort working in fast-moving organizations with maturing operating models and limited program office support
Benefits and work setup
