Sr. Manager, Government Programs

Role overview Lead complex, high-stakes government programs spanning US and international defense agencies, national meteorological services, civil aviation authorities, and homeland security organizations. Drive programs end to end, owning contract terms, technical requirements, stakeholder maps, risks, and the critical path forward across multiple concurrent engagements in diverse regulatory environments.

Responsibilities - Own the full lifecycle of US and international government programs from kickoff through solution delivery, POC execution, operational deployment, and ongoing support - Translate signed contracts into executable program plans with defined milestones, deliverables, ownership, and accountability - Manage scope, schedule, budget, and technical risk across multiple concurrent programs - Serve as the primary point of contact for international government customers and build direct relationships with decision-makers - Drive alignment across internal teams including Legal, Finance, Product, Science, Engineering, and Customer Success - Participate in pre-sale engagement including deal reviews, POC scoping, and proposal or RFQ/RFI responses - Build and maintain program tracking, governance frameworks, and reporting standards

Requirements - 8+ years of hands-on program or project management delivering complex technical programs for government customers, with direct delivery responsibility - Direct experience working with US government agencies and ideally international agencies across defense, meteorological, aviation, or disaster management domains - Track record of personally owning programs end to end in environments without extensive institutional support - Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs across different agencies, time zones, and regulatory frameworks - Strong cross-functional influence skills, getting things done through teams you do not directly manage - Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

Nice to have - Experience navigating government procurement processes, contracting norms, cultural expectations, and compliance requirements from direct operational exposure
