Role overview Build the backend systems and automations that power how a customer support organization resolves issues for hospitality operators. The work connects platforms, workflows, and integrations that support agents rely on every day, shaping the technical foundation that will carry the operation through the next decade.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and own backend services and APIs that power workflows for customer support agents and the broader internal team. - Build and maintain integrations across a complex ecosystem of internal and external systems, including a major CRM platform, billing middleware, document management, and iPaaS workflow automation tools. - Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and system reliability. - Monitor feature rollouts, respond to incidents, and iterate based on performance data and customer feedback. - Partner with product, design, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver on shared goals. - Leverage AI development tools to enhance workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building across the team.
Requirements - 5+ years delivering production backend systems at scale. - Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented language. - Familiarity with API lifecycle management, including versioning, documentation, and deprecation. - Strong understanding of query languages, data modeling, and data distribution. - Experience working with microservices and event-driven architectures. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have - Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production environments. - Familiarity with iPaaS workflow automation platforms. - Prior work with Salesforce or other CRM platforms. - Comfort working with React and GraphQL.
