Senior Product Designer

Role overview A senior product designer is needed to lead reservations and booking experiences end to end, taking problems from ambiguous early framing through to shipped pixels. The work spans consumer-facing discovery, booking, and dining flows alongside adjacent surfaces, with room to shape strategy across native mobile and responsive web. The designer joins a small, autonomous consumer team operating with startup-style ownership inside a larger organization, partnering closely with product, engineering, research, and marketing.

Responsibilities - Frame ambiguous booking and reservation problems, develop a clear point of view, and prototype quickly to test ideas - Design full end-to-end loops rather than isolated screens, balancing the needs of guests making bookings with operators running the floor - Build working prototypes in days using AI-assisted and rapid tooling, then run small phased experiments with real users - Own visual and interaction quality across typography, spacing, hierarchy, and motion for native mobile and responsive web, and contribute to the shared design system - Raise the craft bar through critique and pairing with other designers, while advocating for the guest perspective in business discussions

Requirements - 5 to 7+ years of experience designing consumer or consumer-grade products, with a portfolio of shipped work - Strong range across native mobile, responsive web, guest-facing, and operator-facing surfaces - Hands-on fluency with Figma and AI prototyping tools such as Cursor, Replit, Magic Patterns, or comparable platforms, plus a solid grasp of accessibility - Solid UX fundamentals with the judgment to choose the right method for each problem - Bonus background in scheduling, availability, transactional, or marketplace flows where a user action must land cleanly in a downstream operation

Nice to have - Ability to design in or close to code so engineers trust the handoff - Experience building or stewarding a design system at scale - Track record shipping consumer products at scale and an understanding of what breaks there - Front-end and performance literacy, including why a transition might drop frames - A tinker's instinct to build unprompted prototypes just to see if they could work
