About this role
Role overview A senior project manager is needed to own the launch management system that takes feature and product releases from ready-to-launch through adoption and measurable customer impact for a leading technology platform in the cannabis retail space. Operating autonomously within Revenue Operations, this role serves as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Enablement, Marketing, Support, and go-to-market teams. Success means ensuring internal readiness, customer understanding, and sustained adoption rather than simply shipping on time.
Responsibilities - Own end-to-end project management for assigned launches, including scope, sequencing, timelines, dependencies, go/no-go criteria, and post-launch follow-through with Product and Engineering leads. - Maintain a launch board as the single source of truth for status, ownership, dependencies, risks, decisions, and next steps. - Run action-oriented launch cadences that surface decisions early and drive accountability across cross-functional teams. - Design and execute internal change management, including readiness plans for Sales, Customer Success, Support, Implementation, Marketing, and Enablement. - Design and execute customer-facing change management, including rollout sequencing, customer communications, pilot strategy, and coordination with Marketing and Support. - Define and monitor launch success metrics across readiness, adoption, activation, usage, customer sentiment, and support volume, and turn signals into action. - Continuously improve the launch operating system through process, tooling, and automation opportunities, applying AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and reporting.
Requirements - 5+ years of project or program management experience with meaningful ownership of feature or product launches in a SaaS or technology go-to-market environment. - Demonstrated ownership of change management for both internal teams and external customers, including readiness, communications, rollout, and adoption. - Strong analytical orientation with the ability to define success metrics, pull and interpret product or usage data, and translate findings into action. - Proven track record of proactive communication and risk management, surfacing issues early and framing tradeoffs clearly. - Strong facilitation skills that keep cross-functional groups focused and create accountability without relying on formal authority. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and adapt messaging for technical, go-to-market, and customer audiences.
Nice to have - Experience with SQL, Excel or Sheets, and BI or product analytics tools such as Hex or Pendo. - Experience using AI or LLM tools to improve research, documentation, reporting, workflow automation, or decision support. - Background in cannabis, regulated industries, or multi-segment go-to-market motions spanning SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers. - Experience working in or alongside a Revenue Operations function structured around the full customer lifecycle.
Benefits and work setup - Target starting salary of $102,000-$138,000, depending on level. - Full medical, dental, and vision benefits. - Equity in the form of stock options. - Technology allowance for hardware, software, and reading materials. - Flexible vacation and sick days.
