Remote job
QA Analyst (Part-Time) – Manual + Playwright UK PropTech SaaS Start-up | Fully Remote
Job details
About this role
Role overview Own quality checks for a web-based SaaS product with frequent releases. You’ll test features manually, maintain end-to-end coverage, and give the founders clear evidence about release readiness. An early priority is validating the transfer of 60 customers and their data to a new platform.
Responsibilities - Explore new features across major browsers and mobile devices before release, then run the release checklist and regression tests. - Maintain Playwright end-to-end tests, updating them as the product changes and adding coverage for defects. - Report bugs with reproducible steps, screenshots, and severity; confirm fixes after they ship. - Check payment and financial flows, including subscriptions, credits, and calculators. - Verify customer data remains separated and that migrated records are complete and accurate. - Keep test cases and known-issue notes current, and report findings independently of the developers.
Requirements - At least three years testing web SaaS products, including experience as the primary or sole tester. - Ability to plan testing by risk and explain what should be checked first when time is limited. - Hands-on exploratory and regression testing, with cases organized in a lightweight test tool or document. - Working knowledge of Playwright with TypeScript: run tests, investigate failures, repair locators, and add cases; Cypress experience can transfer. - API testing experience, including error handling and webhook checks, plus basic SQL for inspecting stored data. - Ability to interpret CI results and write clear bug reports; strong written English.
Nice to have Experience testing payment flows, data migrations, multi-tenant permissions, accessibility, mobile browsers, or visual regressions is useful. Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools or GoHighLevel is also welcome.
Benefits and work setup Part-time and fully remote. The work is organized around the release schedule, with flexibility to plan hours accordingly.
