Freelance Software Tester With Smart TVs (Remote in the United Kingdom)

Role overview A short-term freelance opportunity invites remote UK-based testers to run functional quality checks on a streaming application built for Smart TVs running Titan OS, scheduled across October and November. The work is fully remote and flexible, with testers installing app builds on their own compatible televisions and working through structured test scenarios during agreed-upon time windows.

Responsibilities - Install the supplied streaming app build on a personal Titan OS Smart TV and follow setup documentation. - Execute functional test cases covering navigation, playback, login and account behaviour, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, and live event flows. - Identify bugs and submit clear defect reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, or short recordings. - Record findings and feedback in the platform's defect tracking system. - Coordinate availability per test run, accommodating occasional longer sessions of up to roughly 12 hours.

Requirements - At least 18 years old and physically based in the United Kingdom throughout October and November. - Comfortable navigating the app in English; native or bilingual English proficiency preferred. - Own access to a compatible Smart TV running Titan OS (specific Philips, Vestel, or JVC models). - About 30 minutes for initial account setup, plus roughly 2 to 4 hours of testing per typical run. - Ability to receive weekly payments in USD via PayPal or Payoneer.
