Mid-Level AI Engineer

Role overview Join a boutique AI consultancy that designs and ships production-grade machine learning systems for enterprise clients, from large publicly listed companies to fast-growing technology firms. As a Mid-Level AI Engineer, you will take AI solutions from prototype to deployed production while helping shape technical direction and mentor junior teammates.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy production ML and LLM-based systems such as RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, fine-tuned models, and embeddings. - Own end-to-end technical delivery, from architecture and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and iteration. - Collaborate with client engineering and product teams to translate business needs into scoped, shippable solutions. - Mentor other ML engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. - Contribute to internal best practices, tooling choices, and technical standards. - Represent the team in client workshops, technical conversations, and optional industry events.

Requirements - 2+ years of professional experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or a closely related role. - Strong Python skills with a track record of writing clean, well-documented production code. - Hands-on experience designing, training, optimizing, and deploying models with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn. - Practical experience building GenAI and LLM systems, including RAG pipelines and tools such as LangChain. - Familiarity with MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD for ML workflows. - Experience deploying and scaling ML systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Strong debugging and performance optimization skills for complex production systems.
