Role overview
A platform engineering role focused on building and operating the infrastructure layer behind a layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins and real-world payments. The engineer will shape the dev experience, keep chain and validator infrastructure reliable, and partner directly with large enterprises as they run validators in production. It is a remote position based in the USA, working on performance-sensitive systems at the frontier of crypto infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the infrastructure that lets the engineering team ship quickly and reliably - Proactively identify and remove bottlenecks in the DevOps pipeline to maximize developer velocity - Maintain chain reliability, validator infrastructure, and explorer uptime across production - Improve the core developer experience through tooling, scripts, and platform improvements - Onboard enterprise partners and educate them on operating their own validators - Push performance boundaries for the underlying blockchain stack
Requirements
- Proven experience maintaining and scaling bare metal servers and cloud environments for production systems - Proficiency building tooling and scripts in Rust, Go, or Python - Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production, paired with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD - Skilled at deploying monitoring, alerting, and observability systems (for example Prometheus and Grafana), including hardening and joint troubleshooting with the engineering team - Strong Linux and networking fundamentals with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
