About this role
Role overview This senior engineering role focuses on building the platform layer that lets AI agents take real-world actions on behalf of users. The work spans product engineering, platform design, and applied AI, with an emphasis on production-grade services that handle external systems safely. It is well suited for engineers who want to help shape a new category of agent-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and operate production services that expose capabilities to AI agents. - Develop reusable primitives for meetings, browsing, search, email, payments, and adjacent workflows. - Define clean, reliable interfaces and patterns for agent tool use. - Partner with product and engineering teammates to convert emerging agent use cases into shipped services. - Strengthen safety, observability, testing, and operational reliability across the platform. - Contribute to the long-term architecture and direction of the agent enablement platform.
Requirements - Substantial software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems. - Hands-on familiarity with large language models, AI agents, tool calling, and agent orchestration. - Sound judgment around reliability, security, permissions, and external side effects. - Ability to work through ambiguous problems and turn early ideas into maintainable products. - Clear written and verbal communication, with a practical, hands-on engineering style.
Nice to have - Experience with agent frameworks and runtimes such as Hermes Agent or OpenClaw.
