Role overview
A senior engineering position combining hands-on deployment of edge AI infrastructure with long-term technical ownership of enterprise and government customers across the Middle East. The role spans the full customer lifecycle, from initial platform bring-up through ongoing operational maturity, adoption, and expansion. It is designed for engineers who want end-to-end accountability rather than narrow functional scope, and reports into senior customer success and delivery leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment of modular edge AI platforms, including control plane software, modular data center hardware, and integrated GPU-as-a-Service offerings - Own on-site and in-country installations across the region, including infrastructure bring-up, platform configuration, and production readiness validation - Make real-time technical decisions across hardware, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU layers during deployment and steady-state operations - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers after go-live, driving adoption milestones and operational maturity - Build, maintain, and drive Joint Success Plans that align deployment sequencing, adoption strategy, risk management, and value tracking to customer business objectives - Lead technical governance, roadmap planning, and platform optimization discussions with customer engineering, IT, OT, and security stakeholders
Requirements
- Senior-level experience deploying and operating complex distributed infrastructure in customer-facing or field engineering roles - Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes, networking, storage, GPU-accelerated compute, and modern data center architectures - Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to engineering and executive stakeholders in regulated or high-stakes environments - Willingness to travel frequently across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East region - Clear, confident communication style suitable for both executive and engineering audiences - Track record of owning outcomes end-to-end and operating comfortably with ambiguity
Nice to have
- Experience with edge compute, modular data centers, or distributed infrastructure deployments - Familiarity with AI workloads, GPU clusters, and high-performance computing environments - Exposure to sovereign or national-scale customer engagements - Prior operating experience in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, or elsewhere across the Middle East
