Senior Network Consultant - UK

Role overview A hands-on Senior Network Consultant role within a Technical Services team focused on complex enterprise and data centre environments. The position blends network design, implementation, migration, and troubleshooting for enterprise clients, with a growth path into next-generation AI networking technologies. It combines customer delivery, presales collaboration, and mentoring of other engineers.

Responsibilities - Design, deploy, migrate, and support enterprise and data centre networks across complex customer environments. - Design and troubleshoot Cisco ACI and Cisco ISE environments, including policy, segmentation, and access control. - Work with enterprise firewall technologies, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, routing, and high availability. - Operate across Layer 2/3 networking, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, EVPN/VXLAN, and spine-and-leaf architectures. - Produce high-level and low-level designs, migration plans, test plans, and technical documentation. - Engage directly with customers on requirements, workshops, and solution design, and support complex troubleshooting and upgrades.

Requirements - CCIE-level engineer with extensive hands-on experience; active CCIE certification is highly advantageous. - Active CCNP certification. - Strong practical experience designing and implementing Cisco ACI. - Practical experience with Cisco ISE, covering 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and network access control. - Strong enterprise and data centre networking background with enterprise firewall and network security experience. - Excellent troubleshooting skills, customer-facing communication ability, and a proactive, curious approach to learning new technologies.

Nice to have - Exposure to AI-adjacent data centre fabrics such as NVIDIA Spectrum-X, InfiniBand, ConnectX/SuperNIC, RoCE, Cumulus Linux, Nokia SR Linux, and EVPN/VXLAN. - Experience with Python, Ansible, or other network automation tooling.
