AI engineer

Role overview Build AI capabilities that are reliable enough for production use, from early prototypes through deployment. The work spans retrieval-augmented generation, tool-using agents, model fine-tuning, and ways to assess whether a feature is accurate, safe, and useful.

Responsibilities - Develop retrieval pipelines and agent workflows for product applications. - Fine-tune models where that supports the needs of a product. - Create evaluation suites to measure quality and safety before releases. - Work with product and engineering teams to identify appropriate uses for AI. - Set up production monitoring, cost controls, and model safeguards.

Requirements - Ability to design and build AI systems for real-world product use. - Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, agents, or model fine-tuning. - Ability to evaluate model outputs for accuracy, safety, and usefulness. - Ability to collaborate with product and engineering partners. - Familiarity with production monitoring, cost management, and guardrails for AI systems.
