Role overview A senior principal biostatistician role supporting clinical development programs across the drug development and commercialization continuum. The position combines deep statistical expertise with cross-functional collaboration, contributing to study design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting in a research-driven environment. Work may be performed within a functional service provider partnership or a full-service engagement model.
Responsibilities - Lead statistical strategy and provide expert input on the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials. - Contribute to or review protocols, statistical analysis plans, and clinical study reports to ensure scientific rigor. - Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, data management, and programming colleagues to address methodological and operational challenges. - Mentor and offer technical guidance to biostatisticians and statistical programmers across the team. - Apply a development-minded, agile approach to evolving program and customer needs.
Requirements - Significant, senior-level experience as a biostatistician within clinical research, pharmaceuticals, or a related setting. - Deep expertise in statistical methodology relevant to clinical trial design and analysis. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with external partners. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate statistical concepts for varied audiences. - A track record of contributing to regulatory submissions, peer-reviewed outputs, or trial deliverables.
