Senior Salesforce Consultant

Role overview A senior consulting lead role on Salesforce implementation programs, accountable for discovery, requirements shaping, solution design with an architect, platform configuration, and post-go-live adoption. The role translates messy operational reality into Salesforce designs that scale, rather than stacking one-off automations that collapse at the next release. It spans the full delivery lifecycle from workshops through UAT and early customer support.

Responsibilities - Facilitate workshops that surface current-state pain points, and write clear requirements and solution options that architects and developers can execute without guesswork - Map end-to-end processes, challenge requests that recreate broken process inside Salesforce, and protect architectural intent when late requests would create long-term org debt - Design scalable data models, record types, page layouts, and Lightning app experiences, and configure Salesforce declaratively with Flow automation that includes fault paths - Define security, sharing, and persona access patterns that match how clients actually operate - Partner with developers to decide what must be Apex versus what should remain declarative, and plan UAT with scripts, defect triage, and written acceptance criteria - Drive adoption through training outlines, champion enablement, and early-life support, while keeping delivery documentation current for clean managed-services handoff

Requirements - 5+ years as a Salesforce consultant or solution consultant on implementation programs - Strong discovery, process mapping, requirements writing, and stakeholder management skills - Hands-on configuration depth across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including Flow and security model design - Consulting delivery experience from discovery through UAT and go-live - Clear written and spoken English, comfortable leading workshops with Australian mid-market clients - Authorized to work remotely in Australia, with Sydney timezone overlap preferred - Administrator certification plus Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant credentials, with Business Analyst certification helpful but not a substitute for delivery depth

Nice to have Experience Cloud or Field Service adjacent delivery; industry exposure in manufacturing, commercial services, or healthcare; light Apex literacy sufficient to review developer estimates; and change management or enablement program experience.
