Role overview Join the engineering team behind an AI-powered platform that helps organizers run in-person and hybrid events, where revenue growth and meaningful attendee connections are core product goals. This role blends test automation engineering with hands-on quality validation and defect triage, designing scalable frameworks while serving as the engineering bridge for reproducing and resolving high-priority customer issues.
Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks that support broad, long-term coverage across the platform - Maintain and extend existing automated tests using Pytest, keeping suites reliable as the codebase evolves - Reproduce and triage high-priority customer-reported defects, partnering with engineering to drive timely resolution - Validate product quality through manual and automated checks across web-based event experiences - Work within a Git-based codebase, integrating automation into existing CI pipelines and developer workflows - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tooling, and quality metrics
Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in software development in test or a similar SDET-focused role - Working proficiency in Python and Selenium for browser and application automation - Hands-on experience with Pytest (or comparable frameworks) and maintaining automated test suites - Comfort working with Git or similar version control systems in a collaborative codebase - Strong written, verbal, organizational, and analytical communication skills - Availability to collaborate during Eastern European Time (EET) business hours - Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and take ownership of quality outcomes
Nice to have - Hands-on experience testing SOAP and REST APIs - Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD and Postman for API validation
