Specialist Solutions Architect, Billing

Role overview This Specialist Solutions Architect role supports customers and internal teams designing and implementing billing systems on the company's platform. The position blends deep technical expertise with customer-facing communication, helping complex clients translate business requirements into reliable, scalable billing architectures.

Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers building or scaling billing implementations - Design solution architectures for subscription, usage-based, and recurring revenue models - Lead technical discovery, demos, and architecture reviews during pre- and post-sales engagements - Partner with engineering and product teams to surface customer feedback and influence platform improvements - Create reusable reference architectures, sample code, documentation, and best-practice guidance - Troubleshoot integration and design challenges alongside customer engineering teams

Requirements - Hands-on experience as a solutions architect, sales engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role - Deep familiarity with billing, payments, subscriptions, invoicing, or related financial systems design - Strong coding or scripting background sufficient to review integrations and prototypes - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and business audiences

Nice to have - Experience working with enterprise customers in regulated industries - Familiarity with event-driven or webhook-driven billing architectures
