Abuse Investigator

Role overview Investigators focused on application abuse work to detect, analyze, and respond to fraudulent or abusive activity targeting product applications. The role sits on a security team and concentrates on application-layer threats rather than infrastructure or endpoint concerns. It is a remote, full-time position based in the United States, with the team distributed across Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Seattle, and South San Francisco.

Responsibilities - Review application submissions and account activity for indicators of abuse or fraud - Investigate suspicious patterns, build case timelines, and document findings for action - Partner with engineering and security collaborators to mitigate abuse vectors - Contribute to detection improvements based on observed trends

Requirements - Experience investigating application abuse, fraud, or trust-and-safety incidents - Familiarity with patterns common to signup, login, or transactional abuse - Comfort working with security and engineering stakeholders - Eligibility to work full-time within the United States
