Role overview
This senior product role owns the end-to-end development of a core consumer product area, from identifying customer problems through launch, iteration, and scale. You will shape product strategy and roadmaps while balancing customer experience, business performance, growth, risk, and regulatory requirements. The role involves close collaboration with design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and finance, with AI tools used to accelerate product discovery and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and strategy with leadership, connecting customer needs to business objectives. - Own the roadmap from problem definition and prioritization through launch, iteration, and scaling. - Use analytics, user research, and market trends to identify valuable features, improvements, and experiments. - Write clear product specifications covering the problem, objectives, proposed solution, rationale, and success metrics. - Coordinate cross-functional teams to build, launch, and scale products. - Track product performance, evaluate impact, and refine the customer experience based on evidence. - Explain tradeoffs between growth, risk, and compliance to stakeholders. - Use AI tools to improve consumer experiences and accelerate business outcomes.
Requirements
- At least eight years of product management experience, preferably with consumer fintech or mobile products. - A record of building, launching, and scaling consumer products with measurable business impact. - Strong analytical ability and experience with tools such as BigQuery, Looker, Mixpanel, or comparable platforms. - Practical day-to-day experience using AI tools to improve the speed or quality of product work. - Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder influence, and alignment skills. - Strong customer empathy, ownership, initiative, and comfort working through ambiguity.
Nice to have
- Background in software engineering, design, analytics, or technical product management. - Experience with regulated products or domains such as banking, payments, lending, growth, risk, or fraud. - Experience in an early-stage or growth-stage startup.
