Role overview
Lead product design and the broader UX strategy for a consumer banking platform spanning mobile apps, web experiences, and physical products. This is a hands-on leadership role combining end-to-end product design, product strategy, cross-functional influence, and guidance for other designers. You will help shape financial tools intended to improve financial literacy and support the next generation of customers.
Responsibilities
- Design polished, interactive experiences across iOS, Android, and web. - Own design work from early concept through production, launch, and iteration. - Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to define strategy, priorities, and roadmaps tied to growth objectives. - Lead design for important initiatives while delegating work and providing direction and feedback to other designers. - Assess design processes, identify effective practices, and implement improvements that raise team quality and efficiency. - Use and extend the product design system to create consistent, scalable experiences.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering end-to-end UX and UI for consumer-facing products. - A portfolio demonstrating relevant product design work. - Experience building and shipping mobile or web applications. - Strong visual design skills, with the ability to balance scalable interface systems and expressive, brand-oriented experiences. - Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain design decisions and their rationale. - Ability to think beyond individual screens and contribute to product strategy, vision, and decisions about what to build. - Experience leading complex design projects, delegating work, and raising the quality of other designers’ output. - A high standard of craft, close attention to detail, and comfort using AI tools to explore ideas and work more efficiently without sacrificing judgment.

- Experience leading design for consumer fintech products. - Experience creating or maintaining scalable design systems. - Ability to translate designs into production-quality code.
