About this role
Role overview A senior individual contributor is needed to own and evolve the entire People Technology ecosystem for a fast-scaling technology company. The role sits at the intersection of HR systems, automation, AI, and organizational enablement, partnering across People Experience, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and IT. It is a remote-first position open to candidates located anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities - Shape and execute the end-to-end People Technology roadmap, including HRIS, ATS, performance modules, and beyond - Lead the centralization and optimization of People Tech systems to deliver consistent, scalable processes - Design and implement automation and AI-powered workflows across the People Tech stack - Operate as the primary hub in a hub-and-spoke model, partnering with sub-teams to translate needs into tooling and process - Build and maintain API integrations and cross-system data flows, protecting data integrity across platforms - Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies, advising leadership on strategic investments in HR tech
Requirements - Demonstrated experience owning and administering a portfolio of HR technology systems, including HRIS, ATS, and performance management platforms - Deep expertise in automation, AI-powered workflows, and system integrations, including hands-on API design and implementation - Strong strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to a multi-year technology roadmap for senior stakeholders - Experience operating in a hub-and-spoke or shared-services model, balancing competing priorities with a clear point of view - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical partners
