Associate Product Designer

Role overview

An early-career product design role supporting digital experiences for a fintech platform that handles complex M&A and loan agency transactions. The position partners with senior designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate product needs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.

Responsibilities

- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for product features and enhancements. - Collaborate with senior product designers, product managers, and engineers to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. - Apply design system standards to delivery-ready work, contributing new components and refining existing patterns to improve consistency and usability. - Use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully to explore ideas, accelerate workflow tasks, and elevate design quality while applying sound UX judgment. - Participate in design reviews, stakeholder conversations, usability testing, and user feedback sessions, iterating quickly based on input. - Prepare organized design files, notes, and handoff materials so engineering can clearly understand the intended experience.

Requirements

- 0-3 years of professional experience, including internships, in product design, UX design, UI design, interaction design, or a related field. - A portfolio demonstrating design process, UX and UI fundamentals, and the ability to solve product problems. - Working knowledge of Figma or similar design and prototyping tools. - Interest in applying AI-assisted tools within the design workflow for exploration, prototyping, synthesis, documentation, or iteration. - Strong attention to detail in layout, interaction behavior, file organization, and design handoff, with clear communication of design decisions. - Curiosity about users, business workflows, and how software can make complex processes easier.

Benefits and work setup
