Staff Software Engineer, Web (Angular)

Role overview A senior frontend engineering position focused on building and shipping production web applications with Angular and TypeScript. The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership, partnering across backend, design, and product teams to deliver polished customer-facing experiences at scale.

Responsibilities - Write clean, performant, and maintainable code for production web applications - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across experience levels - Collaborate with backend, design, and product partners to deliver integrated end-to-end experiences - Lead and participate in code reviews to maintain consistency and quality across the codebase - Identify refactoring and optimization opportunities to improve scalability and maintainability - Contribute to engineering practices, testing standards, and Agile team processes

Requirements - 7+ years building and releasing production web applications with Angular or a comparable major framework, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS - Deep expertise in TypeScript - Comfort with AI-assisted coding workflows using assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor - Strong communication and project coordination skills across cross-functional teams - Professional written and spoken English

Nice to have - Hands-on experience with Angular and RxJS or similar reactive web technologies - Background as a full-stack engineer - Experience with Node.js or Scala - Work in large, mature codebases - Building or maintaining an internal UI component library - Product-, business-, and user-oriented mindset
