Responsibilities - Find audio data sources and develop dependable pipelines to bring data into training datasets. - Build and improve processing systems, balancing data quality, throughput, and cost. - Work with AI researchers to refine datasets and support model development. - Lead engineering work from defining the problem through implementation and ongoing improvement.

Requirements - A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - At least five years of professional software engineering experience and strong backend fundamentals. - Proficiency with Python and Bash in Linux environments. - Experience building and operating production systems; data pipelines or large scale data processing are particularly relevant. - Strong problem solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently amid ambiguity.

Nice to have - Experience with web crawling, data acquisition, or distributed processing. - Cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code experience, especially GCP and Terraform. - Familiarity with machine learning datasets, dataset quality, or audio processing.
