About this role
Role overview Partner with Operations as an analyst for a healthcare service connecting patients with advocates. You’ll examine performance across patient intake, matching, active care, and advocate workflows, then turn findings into practical changes to improve efficiency, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
Responsibilities - Identify bottlenecks in the patient journey and advocate workflows, and recommend operational improvements. - Analyze advocate utilization, caseloads, and supply-demand balance to support forward-looking staffing decisions. - Build and maintain dashboards that automate reporting and provide self-serve metrics to Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance. - Work with engineering to improve data models and SQL or dbt transformations. - Analyze structured and semi-structured data, including nested JSON and healthcare operations records. - Explain trends and root causes clearly, with recommendations tailored to nontechnical stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements - 3+ years in data analytics, including experience using data to inform healthcare operations decisions. - Familiarity with care delivery workflows such as intake, scheduling, caseloads, and service-level expectations. - Advanced SQL skills and experience querying a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake. - Experience building interactive dashboards and reports; comfort handling messy and nested data. - Ability to investigate root causes, connect analysis to business outcomes, and communicate clearly across technical and operational teams. - Comfort working through ambiguity and shifting priorities; applicants must be based in the United States.
Nice to have - Experience with Hex or a similar notebook-based BI tool; Looker, Tableau, or Metabase experience is also useful. - dbt and Git experience, healthcare reimbursement knowledge, Python or R, or process optimization work. - Practical use of AI tools for analysis, with the judgment to verify results.
