.NET C# and Business Central AL Developer

Role overview Develop and maintain business software products used for payroll, tax, procurement, and retail operations in several African markets. The role combines Business Central extension development in AL with C# integrations, with an emphasis on products that remain upgradeable and ready for distribution through the Microsoft marketplace.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and ship AL extensions for Business Central products. - Extend functionality across payroll, tax, procurement, and retail applications. - Build C# integrations connecting financial ledgers with banks, tax authorities, and point-of-sale devices. - Review code changes and help keep products compatible with Business Central updates. - Work with functional consultants to translate local statutory rules into product behavior.

Requirements - Strong C# and Business Central AL experience, including work on live customer environments. - Familiarity with source control and Azure DevOps or GitHub workflows. - Experience with automated testing for AL code. - Ability to clearly document a posting, tax integration, or payroll calculation you have delivered.

Nice to have - Experience preparing or maintaining AppSource listings. - Exposure to eTIMS, PAYE, or similar statutory integrations in African markets. - Business Central certification. - Willingness to travel to Europe is an advantage.
