Dynamics 365 Finance

Role overview Lead the finance workstream for Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, ensuring the system’s core accounting processes and connected products produce reliable ledger results. The work covers finance configuration and design through workshops, testing, cutover, and post-launch support, including the first month-end close.

Responsibilities - Configure general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, banking, tax, and period-close processes. - Design financial dimensions, intercompany processes, and consolidation for multi-entity groups. - Integrate payroll, electronic tax, and disbursement products with the finance ledger. - Lead workshops, prepare functional designs, and guide finance users through user acceptance testing and cutover. - Support the finance team after launch, including during month-end close.

Requirements - Hands-on delivery experience with Dynamics 365 Finance or AX, including at least one live finance close. - Ability to explain trial balances, tax postings, and bank reconciliations clearly. - Strong workshop facilitation and documentation skills suited to finance users.

Nice to have - MB-310 certification or equivalent. - Experience with statutory finance requirements in Kenya, South Africa, or Nigeria. - Power BI experience for finance reporting. - Willingness to travel to Europe is an advantage.
