Role overview A venture-backed, AI-focused company building a unified workspace that modernizes how group insurance and employee benefits are designed, delivered, and measured is hiring a Product Owner. The role centers on driving end-to-end development of key products, including a broker and carrier enrollment workbench plus AI-driven plan extraction and processing tools. It reports to the VP of Product & Data and sits at the crossroads of customer insight and engineering execution.
Responsibilities - Own the product lifecycle for assigned areas from concept through launch and iteration, including writing clear requirements and product specs - Partner with engineering, design, data, QA, and forward-deployed teams to prioritize, scope, and ship features on schedule - Translate real-world customer workflows and pain points into well-defined product requirements - Maintain transparent roadmaps and weigh tradeoffs quickly to keep development moving forward - Coordinate with marketing on launch communications and produce release notes, product docs, and internal updates - Enable forward-deployed, sales, and client teams through training and documentation, serving as the internal expert for owned product areas
Requirements - 2-5 years of experience in product, engineering, or a closely related role - Strong track record writing structured documentation, product specs, or similar deliverables - Demonstrated ability to manage projects or workflows end-to-end and deliver against timelines - Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, design, or other technical teams - Excellent written and spoken English communication skills - Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
