Product Manager, In-Person Giving
Job details
About this role
Role overview
This role leads the Events & Commerce stream inside an in-person fundraising product line used by nonprofits worldwide. The work spans discovery, definition, delivery, launch, and iteration, turning a broad category into a focused roadmap grounded in customer workflows and commercial evidence. It is a hands-on software product position, not event planning, sales, or internal project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Shape the Events & Commerce product thesis and a sequenced roadmap from customer research, market evidence, and business context - Pick a focused target segment and event scenario rather than attempting to replace every event platform - Decide which capabilities belong in the shared in-person giving foundation versus an Events-specific model - Make explicit build, integrate, partner, or exclude decisions and keep assumptions, success metrics, scope, and risks visible - Run discovery directly with nonprofit fundraising teams, event operators, finance staff, volunteers, attendees, donors, design partners, and internal GTM teams - Map end-to-end workflows before, during, and after events, including ticketing, donations, check-in, merchandise and food sales, auctions, paddle raises, reconciliation, reporting, and transaction attribution - Partner closely with the adjacent product area so event commerce reuses the same payment, campaign, donor-data, reporting, mobile, and operational foundations
Requirements
- 4–7 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience at a software product company - End-to-end ownership of a customer-facing product area alongside Engineering and Design - Strong judgment in narrowing large problem spaces into focused releases with clear trade-off reasoning - Experience turning customer evidence and product data into decisions - Clear written communication across requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decision records - Comfort with transactional, multi-actor workflows involving permissions, states, money, and data relationships - High ownership and independence, with fluent written and spoken English plus fluency in Russian and English at C1+ or higher - Location in Turkey with remote work arrangement
Nice to have
- Background in ticketing, event technology, commerce, point-of-sale, payments, marketplaces, registration, or auctions - Familiarity with mobile applications, contactless payments, physical devices, or hardware-enabled workflows - Experience in B2B SaaS, fundraising, nonprofits, or other operationally complex customer environments - Launching a new product area through beta or early-access programs - Knowledge of CRM integrations, financial reconciliation, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL - Practical use of AI for research, prototyping, analysis, or product operations
Benefits and work setup
- Gross compensation range of $4,600–$5,000, finalized based on experience, skills, and location - 31 days of paid time off - Fully paid telemedicine plan - Home office setup assistance covering furniture such as a chair, desk, and monitor - English learning courses and a budget for relevant professional education - Support for a gym or swimming pool membership - Co-working allowance combined with full remote working - Equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce
