Oracle EBS - System/Solution Architect

Role overview This role supports the operations and maintenance of a federal civilian agency's centralized financial management system built on Oracle EBS v12.2.9. The architect will shape scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions while guiding modernization efforts including cloud integration, API development, and modern UI frameworks. It is a remote position supporting a mission-critical enterprise finance platform, contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities - Design scalable architecture blueprints for financial management modules aligned with federal financial standards - Oversee integration of financial databases, cloud services, and web applications across the enterprise stack - Enforce federal security controls including NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP compliance requirements - Coordinate with program managers, financial analysts, and cybersecurity teams to resolve system bottlenecks - Support continuous improvement of financial management services to ensure system performance, security, and availability - Guide modernization initiatives such as REST API enablement, SSO/PIV integration, and ReactJS-based UI updates

Requirements - 12+ years of enterprise-scale solution architecture experience with federal financial or large-scale Oracle ERP systems - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field - Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure - Strong database administration skills with Oracle or SQL environments - Hands-on experience with modern API microservices architectures

Nice to have - Prior experience with large federal Oracle EBS implementations or similar centralized financial systems - Agile delivery methodology experience - Familiarity with AI/ML approaches applied to enterprise platforms - Strong communication and client-facing collaboration skills

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote position with all work performed within the continental United States - Salary range of $175,000 to $180,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package - Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 or 6 clearance - Occasional in-person meetings may be requested at agency headquarters in Washington, DC
