Staff Product Designer
Job details
About this role
Role overview A Staff Product Designer is needed to shape AI-enabled workflows on a cybersecurity risk intelligence platform serving enterprise customers. The role spans end-to-end design of complex B2B experiences such as third-party risk assessments, automated security questionnaires, and continuous monitoring tools, with a strong expectation that design work is grounded in real code and the existing design system rather than produced in isolation.
Responsibilities - Own the full design lifecycle for deeply technical AI-driven workflows in cyber risk, from problem framing through shipped product. - Translate enterprise constraints like role-based access control, multi-tenant data, and complex filtering into clear, usable patterns. - Run usability tests, synthesize behavioral and product analytics, and weave research findings into each iteration. - Build interactive prototypes anchored to the codebase and design system using AI tooling, communicating intent through structured prompts. - Contribute reusable, machine-readable patterns to the design system with WCAG 2.2 accessibility as a baseline. - Partner closely with Product and Engineering to refine ambiguous briefs and push back with evidence when direction is unclear.
Requirements - At least 7 years of product design experience, including 3+ years on B2B SaaS platform products with dense data and permissions. - A portfolio showing high-complexity interface work such as analytics dashboards, permissions management, or deeply nested systems. - Hands-on practitioner experience prompting AI tools like Claude to produce interactive prototypes grounded in a real codebase and design system. - Strong Figma fluency and a track record of contributing to a maintained design system. - Solid grasp of cognitive load, decision-making frameworks, and designing for high-stakes environments where user error is costly. - Experience integrating usability testing, product analytics, and accessibility standards into a default design process.
