Live Ops Manager - MARVEL Strike Force

Role overview

This role bridges Live Operations strategy and high-quality in-game execution for a squad-based hero collector RPG mobile title. The position translates high-level event and monetization designs into concrete tickets, configuration specifications, and acceptance criteria, while coordinating delivery across an external implementation partner. It is an execution-focused product operations role accountable for ensuring offers, events, milestones, and rewards stay aligned with the broader player engagement and value proposition.

Responsibilities

- Convert strategic designs for offers, events, milestones, and rewards into precise tickets, configuration specs, and acceptance criteria - Prioritize, delegate, and track work across an external Live Ops implementation partner, keeping owners, dependencies, timing, and escalation paths clear - Maintain a reliable view of upcoming launches and confirm that requirements and assets are complete before go-live - Review configured content for technical accuracy, player value, internal consistency, and alignment with engagement and monetization goals - Gather direction from events and monetization product managers and resolve conflicts across overlapping workstreams - Build and refine templates, checklists, documentation, and repeatable workflows that improve implementation speed and reduce errors - Use performance data and player segmentation to validate implementation choices and support post-launch reviews - Apply AI tools to draft requirements, analyze data, create documentation, and surface inconsistencies

Requirements

- 3+ years in live operations, product operations, production, product management, or a comparable execution-focused role in mobile or free-to-play games - High-ownership working style with strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail across multiple concurrent deadlines and workstreams - Track record turning ambiguous direction into precise tickets and acceptance criteria; familiarity with Jira strongly preferred - Judgment to evaluate both configuration accuracy and whether an implementation supports intended player and business outcomes - Experience managing external partners or distributed implementation teams through clear delegation, prioritization, and escalation - Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform events and monetization requirements; SQL proficiency preferred - Demonstrated comfort using AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, QA, and workflow improvement - Clear written and verbal communication across product, economy, analytics, production, and implementation partners

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with SQL, BigQuery, Looker, or comparable analytics tools - Background designing milestone systems, event rewards, or progression-based mechanics
