Solutions Integration Engineer III

Role overview

This role sits within a Professional Services team helping strategic customers design and deliver B2B integrations with an IoT Connected Operations platform. You will lead integration projects across industries such as transportation, logistics, construction, and utilities, partnering with customer engineering teams, partner organizations, and third-party systems integrators.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end system integration projects with customer development teams, partners, and third-party integrators, building enterprise-grade scalable solutions using APIs, webhooks, connectors, and related web technologies. - Design complex project scopes, technical specifications, and business requirements across multiple stakeholders from design through delivery. - Plan projects involving multiple dependencies, uncertainty, and risk, and make delivery commitments for larger initiatives. - Architect robust, scalable integrations for use cases such as real-time data streaming, event subscriptions, and batch processing. - Build, test, validate, and review code to ensure completeness and high-quality deliverables. - Advise on and document best practices around integrations, APIs, and platform products. - Conduct thorough code reviews and provide actionable, insightful feedback to peers.

Requirements

- Extensive experience designing and delivering B2B integrations at scale. - Strong programming background with a track record of production-grade code. - Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects. - Ability to balance maintainability, portability, scalability, and reliability against delivery speed. - Excellent communication skills for partnering with customer teams, sales, product, and operations. - US residency with ability to work remotely; candidates in certain states are not eligible for this role.
