Associate Sales Engineer, SE Desk - Mid West

Role overview Join a pre-sales engineering team that helps organizations running physical operations adopt IoT-based connected operations technology. As an Associate Sales Engineer on the SE Desk, you will partner with sales counterparts across the Midwest to translate customer challenges in fleet, asset, and equipment management into well-scoped technical solutions. This is a remote role supporting customers in the Midwest region of the United States.

Responsibilities - Lead technical conversations with prospects and customers on topics such as logistics and supply chain operations, fleet maintenance programs, asset tracking across multiple sites, machine diagnostics and control systems, third-party system integration, and regulatory compliance - Build working knowledge of IoT hardware and sensors, hands-on installation and deployment scenarios, cellular carrier networks, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations through an open API - Recommend the right combination of products and configurations to address each customer's operational and compliance needs - Support proof-of-concept work, technical evaluations, and integration planning from discovery through deployment handoff - Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering colleagues to keep field feedback flowing back into the organization

Requirements - Located in the Midwest region of the United States and able to work remotely - Strong interest in or exposure to IoT, telematics, fleet technology, or adjacent connected-device domains - Comfort discussing technical concepts with both engineers and operational stakeholders such as fleet or plant managers - Solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead discovery calls and demo sessions - A bias for learning on the job and tackling unfamiliar technical territory

Nice to have - Hands-on experience with hardware deployment, networking, or API-based system integration - Familiarity with video-based safety, vehicle telematics, or equipment monitoring use cases - Exposure to industries such as transportation, construction, agriculture, field services, or manufacturing
