About this role
Role overview An Application Analyst role focused on the Epic Cupid module, which supports cardiology workflows within an electronic health record ecosystem. The position owns system design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing operational support, with full-time daytime hours and an after-hours/weekend on-call rotation. It is part of an ancillary clinical systems team supporting cardiology services.
Responsibilities - Design, build, test, and validate the Epic Cupid module, including future-state workflow development and configuration changes. - Research complex issues and produce solution options, including alternatives that address system limitations. - Partner with vendors, project teams, and end-user resources to identify optimization opportunities and implement effective solutions. - Deliver tier-2 support for incidents reported through the help desk and maintain current documentation. - Execute changes via processes that align with departmental policies, ensuring compliance at each step. - Collaborate with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders, often engaging with director-level leadership.
Requirements - High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred. - One year of related experience; current Epic operational experience strongly preferred. - Epic Cupid certification and/or hands-on Cardiology clinical experience. - Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in the assigned module. - Basic computer skills and strong analytical problem-solving ability. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to have - Ability to travel for required Epic training and to remote work locations. - Familiarity with ancillary or cardiology-specific clinical workflows.
