Chief Technology Officer

Role overview Lead technical strategy and engineering operations across a portfolio of business software products spanning logistics, procurement, transport, property operations, and workflow automation. This is a hands-on executive position with responsibility for architecture, delivery, reliability, security, infrastructure, and the long-term technical roadmap.

Responsibilities - Set technical direction across existing products and evaluate architecture choices for applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, observability, and security. - Improve uptime, release quality, incident response, and resilience in production environments. - Establish engineering practices for delivery, code review, testing, documentation, and developer workflows. - Plan cloud and self-hosted infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, backups, and cost controls. - Hire, mentor, and manage engineers as the team grows. - Assess the technical feasibility and risks of new products, client work, partnerships, and acquisitions; apply AI tools and features where they improve operations.

Requirements - Experience taking broad technical ownership, including architecture, engineering execution, and production reliability. - Ability to work hands-on and make disciplined decisions when resources and processes are still developing. - Clear communication with both engineers and business stakeholders. - Interest in building durable systems and leading technology across a multi-product portfolio. - Willingness to take an active operating role and build toward long-term company-level responsibility.

Nice to have - Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, logistics, procurement, mobility, property operations, fintech, or workflow automation. - Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Astro, NestJS, Postgres, Supabase, Redis, queues, or API design. - Background in cloud infrastructure, Docker, CI/CD, observability, backups, security reviews, or cost optimization. - Experience with AI-assisted products, internal agents, document automation, retrieval systems, or workflow intelligence; small-team engineering leadership is also useful.
